Possible buyer here, while it's in the shop did you try getting an estimate to fix the current issues such as the broken door locks, winch, torn trim, etc? Also, which engine is under the hood and has it or the transmission been rebuilt? Do you have a certified Hummer tech in your area that can perform a thorough inspection? Finally, do you have the receipts to show the maintenance history? I was thinking about going with a later model with the 6.5l turbo under the hood, but if the price is low enough I might settle for an older model especially if the maintenance history is documented and solid.

Jim is going to have a lot of fun with this truck. It looks like he's already an avid offroader and now has the "real deal". I was sorry to see the truck go, but it was the right thing for me to do right now. I'm happy that it's going to someone who is really going to put it to use!
